Mindful Movement III: Proprioception and Grounding
This four part series will examine different aspects of somatic awareness in our yoga practice, allowing time to pause and observe as we move mindfully through asana and meditation.
Our third week shifts from a deeper awareness of the internal to a deeper awareness of the external: exploring the way our feet build every pose from the ground up, and using that to gain balance and stability in our physical practice.
We will finish each session with a body-scan focused Yoga Nidra, allowing us to experience this deeper embodiment in both movement and stillness. All levels welcome.
