At the start of her international career in contemporary classical ballet, Jennifer was toldto try Iyengar Yoga- a very focused form of hatha yoga- to recover from a stress fracture and prevent future injury. Noticing immediate effects,she has since then regularly practiced Iyengar yoga for now more than 27 years, and has been certified to teach since 1998.
She studied directly with the Iyengars in India over several years, completed a 3-yr. teacher training in the Netherlands after years of Iyengar yoga studies in San Francisco, and has 3 levels of higher certification.
Jennifer has been developing a very practical, physical philosophical yoga to directly assist in overcoming the conditioned habits of body and mind and bring health and a sense of freedom.
Her classes are intelligent, offering a practical sense of progress in working on alignment and adjustment in the body, while providing moments of peace, restoration, vitalization, and bliss
