New Years Eve Practice with Rita Burlingame

It is time for the 3rd Annual New Year's Eve Practice!

Yoga is so much more than just postures. Through this practice we make space for positive energy in the body, release negative and undirected energy, and create stillness and clarity in the mind. The first half of this workshop will be a gentle vinyasa, open to students of all ability levels. The sequence will cultivate a link between the breath and movement, as well as create space in the hips and spine for a comfortable seated practice. The second half of this workshop will be on Cultivating Intention for the New Year, with a brief writing exercise and a meditation on the future that we'd like to create.

6pm - 8pm : Workshop

8pm - 9pm : Snacks + beverages!

*some students have inquired regarding a potluck, you are welcome to bring a dish if you would like, but it is certainly not expected.
